Easily spent 2 hours there browsing through my childhood and wanting to buy everything. It made for a great day trip. Can't wait to go back. Employees were nice and helpful.
This place is awesome! Any and everything you could need or want and some. Travel back in time checking out toys and candy from your childhood. Prices are good and the employees are very friendly. Plan on spending a bit of time there, because you will lose track of time reminiscing on the good old days as well as today's favorites.
Very nice. Had seen their commercials on Buffalo TV and always wanted to visit. If you can't find it there, you don't need it. Many speciality items and hard to find vintage items. Tons of housewares. Stop by and see them at Christmas time as I understand the place is literally a winter wonderland of decoration. Huge selection of penny candy as well. Staff very friendly and very helpful. We definitely will make a drive there (for us it's an hour one way) again and again. Prices good but the experience is worth any price. Great job to everyone there.
Wonderful products, many of which are nostalgic. Prices are fair. Old fashioned candy that will bring back fond memories. Great toy section. Something for everyone, especially those who need a unique gift for that unique person who many be hard to buy for.
Undoubtedly one of WNY's treasures, this place is like Amazon: Live! This place has a dancing plethora of stuff you want, whatnots you should try once, and surprises you didn't even know you needed to make your life whole. I'm referring, of course, to the gifts, candies and toys, and kitchen gadget areas respectively. You must go to Vidler's, bro.
A true local treasure. Quaint, friendly, old family business. If you can't find it here, you don't need it!
This place is amazing. Between Game of Thrones themed Clue to cookie cutters- they have everything here. Once you have looked through everything on the main floor- there is more downstairs. If you are with kids- the "fun" part is upstairs. Candy, board games, cards, chocolate, collectible items and more! If you are an adult looking for some home goods, then everything for you is downstairs. Since there are soooo many different sections- there is a "lost spouse spot" where you can go and stand in until your spouse finds you. I found this hysterical. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are options to park in the street. You can also park behind the building.
You cannot begin to explain the uniqueness of what they offer! It is so special that friends and I always plan an annual holiday trip here - we never leave disappointed! Retro items, kitschy stuff, unique foods, a treasure trove of kitchen tools - you can truly find anything you want here! Treat yourself- come here to shop but allow a lot of time.....the place is HUGE!
Our favorite local shop filled with endless rows of unique items and things you didn't know you wanted. Where else can you find a grapefruit spoon, lacrosse stick, board games, art supplies, Licorice Allsorts, and whoopee cushions all under one roof? This old-fashioned store has something for everyone and is a great spot to stop at when gift shopping. Oh and don't forget your dimes ... You can't beat 10 cent popcorn, which is located near the candy on the upstairs level.
It has anything you could ever want. Old fashioned candies, unique gift ideas, board games, old toys, candles & chocolate! I've been going here since I was a kid and it has never lost its magic. There are so many rooms that it's easy to get lost and you can easily spend an hour in this place looking at everything. One of the coolest finds was the unique soda wall...there were so many cool flavors...cookie dough, key lime pie, ranch dressing... (Ew). Makes for some great gag gifts!
Vidler's is amazing and hard to put into words but I will do my best. Located on Main St. in East Aurora, it's a destination rather than just another store. This place is packed with nostalgia. They have thousands of items that would be of interest to all ages. You can find things like tin lunch boxes, unusual and hard to find kitchen gadgets, toys from your childhood that you thought were gone forever like cap guns, balloon driven little cars and boats, candies you thought they stopped making, Christmas ornaments, art supplies, school supplies, scented candles, board games, the list goes on and on. I even found a mask for my Halloween costume. Bring your dimes for the old fashioned popcorn dispensing machine. I have included a lot of pictures but not all 80 I actually took. The people that work there were extremely friendly and helpful. I have been there before but every time I go there I always discover new treasures. This trip I found Bacon Candy Canes, a Public Toilet Survival Kit and a selection of Wine Brownie Mixes (see pics). Go there, you won't be disappointed. Pleanty of free parking behind the building.
We always love stopping by this old time shop with so many rooms and so many things to look at. They have a section of personalized local products
A friend suggested we drop in and check out this store while we were in the neighborhood. Neat little store. Any and everything you can imagine. Four two story buildings full of stuff. Wasn't just junk. Allot of useful stuff. Kitchen gadgets, outdoor decorations, board games, toys, candy, crafts, etc. parking at rear of building. Could spend hours in here.
Fun place to visit. Local favorite stop. The kids love to shop to find little toys and to pick from there nice selection of candy.
