Easily spent 2 hours there browsing through my childhood and wanting to buy everything. It made for a great day trip. Can't wait to go back. Employees were nice and helpful.
This place is awesome! Any and everything you could need or want and some. Travel back in time checking out toys and candy from your childhood. Prices are good and the employees are very friendly. Plan on spending a bit of time there, because you will lose track of time reminiscing on the good old days as well as today's favorites.
Very nice. Had seen their commercials on Buffalo TV and always wanted to visit. If you can't find it there, you don't need it. Many speciality items and hard to find vintage items. Tons of housewares. Stop by and see them at Christmas time as I understand the place is literally a winter wonderland of decoration. Huge selection of penny candy as well. Staff very friendly and very helpful. We definitely will make a drive there (for us it's an hour one way) again and again. Prices good but the experience is worth any price. Great job to everyone there.
Wonderful products, many of which are nostalgic. Prices are fair. Old fashioned candy that will bring back fond memories. Great toy section. Something for everyone, especially those who need a unique gift for that unique person who many be hard to buy for.
Undoubtedly one of WNY's treasures, this place is like Amazon: Live! This place has a dancing plethora of stuff you want, whatnots you should try once, and surprises you didn't even know you needed to make your life whole. I'm referring, of course, to the gifts, candies and toys, and kitchen gadget areas respectively. You must go to Vidler's, bro.
This store is a time warp to childhood filled to brim with fun knicknacks and all the things you didn't know you needed! A fun place to stop when visiting the little town of East Aurora for sure. 2 floors and a maze of magical finds including toys, candy, art supplies, garden, home decor, painting, and my fav section of kitchen gadgets! Endless christmas items during the holidays too all while doing a great job to keep the store COVID friendly with arrows, plastic screens, and reduced capacity! Love this place, and even if you're not looking so much fun to just wander in!
The only other place that I've experienced like this is the Old Forge Hardware Store in Old Forge NY. This is a great place to wander around from one section to another discovering things you might not have seen in years (maybe games, lunch boxes, or penny candy) along with numerous items you never knew you wanted or needed, maybe a new kitchen gadget. Vidlers sells everything from the above mentioned games candy, & kitchen gadgets, to holiday items, clothes, books, gifts, cards, etc, etc. If you want it, they probably have it. Half the fun there is the exploring. Vidlers Norman Rockwell type of charm has ever placed them in a few made to TV movies! Check them out (the store and the movies).
You pretty much can find anything and everything in here! From Knick knack, accessories, cooking ware, toys, candies, local stuff, hobbies/crafts. This years I bought quite a bit stuff there for Christmas present and birthday present . So when my daughter asked me where she can go to get presents for her friends and family, I immediately said Vidler!!! The price also very reasonable. She was amazed with the store and everything they have. We started from the lower floor and work our way up. She got almost everyone on her shopping list. She got a really good variety of goodies. She's very satisfied and she mentioned how it also easy to get there. I know she'll be back just like I'll be back again and again!
Took my 4 year old son and he went bonkers! I love the variety of old fashioned candies, collectibles, vintage items and more! Definitely take your time to rummage through the whole store because it is huge! Also on a lovely block full of village flair and shops for all! I will definitely be back!
Endless Entertaining Inventory and Incredibly Helpful Staff! Couldn't ask for a better experience! But I know for my next visit to allow for more time to browse. Luckily I live locally!!

It's a must-visit! Old school lunch boxes, board games for kids, things for the yard. You name it, they have it!
Wow! I walked in the front door and immediately found a great gift for an author friend. But wait...there was more and more and more. Endless. If I hadn't been flying back to Denver, I could have bought a whole lot of great STUFF:)
