Take the i-190 South past the Grand Island bridges and merge onto the i-90 West. From there exit onto the 400 South. Follow the 400 until the East Aurora exit (20A) and take a right. Head straight into town and Vidlers will be located on your right.
When planning your excursion to Vidler’s 5 & 10, why not consider making the trip a long weekend? Downtown East Aurora is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and slow down for a couple days, offering a small-town feel with the options of a larger city.
Vidler’s is partnered with great local hotels, like Hampton Inn, The Roycroft Inn, or Elmwood Village Inn, which offer a comfortable place to rest, as well as being within walking distance of restaurants, boutiques, and, most importantly, Vidler’s 5 & 10! If you’re looking for a more laidback experience, check out Elm Street Bakery for a scrumptious, freshly baked pastry or 42 North Brewing Company for a flight of delicious seasonal brews.
Then, take a ride out to Knox Farm, where you can be transported back in time by taking a hike and viewing the sprawling 633-acre property of the Knox Family, which has since been donated to the public as a state park. Finally, check out the fine dining options in downtown East Aurora, such as Griffin’s Gastropub and Rick’s On Main or, if you’re looking for something more casual, there’s plenty of Buffalo local fare at Bar Bill Tavern or 189 Burger. Either way, you’re sure to have a delectable meal while enjoying the beauty of nature and the convenience of boutiques that line East Main Street. And remember to look for the red and white awnings, where aisle upon aisle of goodies and treats await you (as well as free parking)!
